Kitty Turner, owner of South Winds Farm is a
professional trainer, instructor and rider. She began riding at 4 years of
age. As a growing child she trained and showed other peoples horses.
She has been teaching at her farm for over 25 years and is certified thru the
advanced level in combined training and thru intermediate level in hunters by
the American Riding Instructors Certification Program. She was instructor of
the year in 1986. She has successfully trained her daughter, Jill Williams,
through the 4 star level of combined training.
Brandy
Alexander, manager of South Winds Farm has been studying and teaching under
Kitty for six years and has successfully trained and ridden horses through the
preliminary levels of combined training.
She was chosen for the Area 3 Young Rider Team Challenge in 2004 and is currently competing her way up the levels of Combined Training.
